At the anchor

Tomožina bay

Visited in the Summer 2022

Nice little anchorage and crystal clear water. Great holding in the sand bottom. But, take care and look carefully as some parts, specially closer to the shore, are flat rocks or rocks covered by tin layer of sand what can be very deceiving. Try to avoid grass patches.

Well protected but in case of strong Bura (NE), every gust comes from different (often opposite) direction swinging the boat around. It can be quite challenging for the anchor. Open to S – SW. In case of medium SW to SE wind directions, you can probably get limited protection just by moving to appropriate part of the bay and using land lines if needed. But better look for other option. Protected from W only by low land strip so it doesn’t shield from the wind much but wave protection is much more important so it is safe.

It is a bit away from the main charter routes so it is not overcrowded.
