Jasenovo bay

Croatia - your sailing destination

At the anchor

Jasenovo bay

Visited in the Summer 2021

Nice and quiet anchorage. It is out of charter routs so you can enjoy being almost alone (only NE part). There is very popular and busy beach on the South side which is better to avoid.

You can anchor anywhere you like, depending of the wind direction and weather forecast. Bay is quite big and shallow. 5 – 10m , mud and sand.

It looks safe in all wind directions except W. It still might be OK but because bay is large and land line very low it will not offer too much protection.

In case of strong W wind directions better move across the channel to the island Pag – Ricina bay.

Shore is uninhabited. There are just a few boats in the corner and remains of the church St. Lovro from 13th century.

Beautiful view from the top of the hill.

Definitely worth visiting and spending some quiet time on the anchor.
